RepTrackr — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the RepTrackr mobile app and its Wear OS companion ("RepTrackr", "the app", "we", "us") handle information. RepTrackr is developed by Vladimir Korkhov (the "developer").

Summary

1. Information we handle

1.1 Data you create in the app

Routines, exercises, workout and set logs, comments, settings (units, theme, language, timers), and any images you attach to routines or exercises. This is stored in the app's private storage on your device. It is not transmitted to us — we have no backend and no account system.

1.2 What we do not collect ourselves

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or precise location, and we do not require sign-up. We do not run our own analytics. The app does embed the Google AdMob advertising SDK, which collects the limited information described in §3 to serve ads. (If you choose to email diagnostic logs, your own email app will reveal your email address to the developer — see §5.)

2. Health Connect and heart rate

If you grant permission, RepTrackr writes the following records to Android Health Connect on your device, so that other health apps you choose can use them:

On a paired Wear OS watch, the app reads heart rate from the watch's sensor during a workout to display your live heart rate and to produce the records above. This processing happens on your device.

RepTrackr does not read your existing Health Connect history for analytics, profiling, or sharing. Data written to Health Connect is stored on your device and controlled by you in the Health Connect app, subject to Google's Health Connect terms and privacy notice. You can revoke this permission or delete the data at any time in Health Connect.

In line with Google's Health Connect requirements, health and fitness data is never used for advertising and is never shared with ad networks or data brokers. Your workout, heart-rate and calorie data is kept strictly separate from the advertising described in §3.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

RepTrackr shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and share with Google:

This information is processed by Google as described in Google's Privacy Policy and "How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services". We do not receive your advertising identifier or location for our own purposes, and — as noted in §2 — no health or fitness data is ever included in an ad request or used for ad targeting.

Consent (EEA/UK/Switzerland). Where required, the app presents a Google-certified consent message (the User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are served. You can review or change your choice at any time in Settings → Support the developer → Privacy options.

Limiting ad tracking. You can reset or delete your Android Advertising ID, or opt out of ad personalization, in your device's Settings → Privacy → Ads. The simplest way to remove ads entirely is the in-app purchase described in §4.

4. Purchases (remove ads & tips)

RepTrackr offers a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase that removes ads, as well as optional "tip" purchases to support development. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Google handles your payment and receives the payment information; we never see or store your card or payment details. On your device we store only a local flag recording that the "remove ads" entitlement is owned, so that ads stay off (including after you reinstall or switch devices and restore the purchase). Your purchase history for the app is handled by Google Play under Google's terms.

5. Diagnostic and crash logs

To help fix problems, the app keeps diagnostic and crash logs in its private storage on your device. These logs are not sent anywhere automatically. Only when you tap Settings → Support → Send logs does the app bundle the logs with basic device information (device model, Android version, app version and similar technical details) into a file and open your email app so you can send it to the developer. You decide whether to send it, and your email provider handles the message.

6. Wear OS companion

If you use RepTrackr on a paired Wear OS watch, workout data is synchronized between your phone and watch using the Google Play Services Wearable Data Layer over your devices' local connection. This sync happens between your own devices. The Wear OS companion does not show ads.

7. Android system backup

The app permits Android's built-in backup. Depending on your device settings, Android may back up app data to your Google account (Google Drive). This backup is performed by the Android operating system and governed by Google's terms; the developer does not control or access it. You can disable backup in your device settings.

8. Permissions we request

9. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell your data. Third-party platforms involved are:

10. Retention and deletion

Data you create stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. You can:

11. Children

RepTrackr is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. Because the app shows standard (non-child-directed) ads, it should not be used by children under 13.

12. Security

Your data is stored in the app's private, sandboxed storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we rely on Android's app-isolation model to protect on-device data.

13. Your rights

Because your in-app workout data lives only on your device, you can access and delete it directly using the controls in §10. Advertising choices are described in §3 (the in-app consent form, Settings → Support the developer → Privacy options, and your device's ad settings). For any privacy request, contact info@reptrackr.fit.

13.1 European Economic Area, UK & Switzerland (GDPR)

The data controller is Vladimir Korkhov (info@reptrackr.fit). For advertising, the legal basis is your consent, collected through the Google-certified consent form shown the first time the app serves ads; you can withdraw or change it at any time via Settings → Support the developer → Privacy options.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Because your workout data stays on your device, you exercise most of these directly in the app (§10); the advertising data is processed by Google as an independent controller (see Google's Privacy Policy and the controls in §3). Advertising data may be transferred to and processed in the United States by Google under its standard contractual clauses. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.

13.2 United States (California & other states)

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, the sharing of your advertising identifier and ad-interaction data with Google for personalized / cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a "sale" or "share" under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) and similar state laws.

You can opt out at any time via the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" option in Settings → Support the developer → Privacy options, or by resetting / deleting your Advertising ID in your device settings. We do not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Depending on your state you may also have the right to know, access, correct, and delete personal information — to make such a request, contact info@reptrackr.fit. The categories involved are limited to identifiers (advertising ID), internet/app activity (ad interactions), and approximate, IP-derived location, used only for the advertising in §3.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. If we make material changes — for example, to the advertising or purchase practices described above — we will revise the "Last updated" date, keep the app's Google Play Data Safety information consistent, and surface a notice in the app or store listing.
