RepTrackr — Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the RepTrackr mobile app and its Wear OS companion ("RepTrackr", "the app", "we", "us") handle information. RepTrackr is developed by Vladimir Korkhov (the "developer").

Summary

1. Information we handle

1.1 Data you create in the app

Routines, exercises, workout and set logs, comments, settings (units, theme, language, timers), and any images you attach to routines or exercises. This is stored in the app's private storage on your device. It is not transmitted to us — we have no backend, no account system, and the app does not hold the internet permission.

1.2 What we do not collect

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or location, we do not require sign‑up, and we do not embed analytics or advertising SDKs. (If you choose to email diagnostic logs, your own email app will reveal your email address to the developer — see §3.)

2. Health Connect and heart rate

If you grant permission, RepTrackr writes the following records to Android Health Connect on your device, so that other health apps you choose can use them:

On a paired Wear OS watch, the app reads heart rate from the watch's sensor during a workout to display your live heart rate and to produce the records above. This processing happens on your device.

RepTrackr does not read your existing Health Connect history for analytics, profiling, or sharing. Data written to Health Connect is stored on your device and controlled by you in the Health Connect app, subject to Google's Health Connect terms and privacy notice. You can revoke this permission or delete the data at any time in Health Connect.

In line with Google's Health Connect requirements, health and fitness data is never used for advertising and is never shared with ad networks or data brokers.

3. Diagnostic and crash logs

To help fix problems, the app keeps diagnostic and crash logs in its private storage on your device. These logs are not sent anywhere automatically. Only when you tap Settings → Support → Send logs does the app bundle the logs with basic device information (device model, Android version, app version and similar technical details) into a file and open your email app so you can send it to the developer. You decide whether to send it, and your email provider handles the message.

4. Wear OS companion

If you use RepTrackr on a paired Wear OS watch, workout data is synchronized between your phone and watch using the Google Play Services Wearable Data Layer over your devices' local connection. This sync happens between your own devices.

5. Android system backup

The app permits Android's built‑in backup. Depending on your device settings, Android may back up app data to your Google account (Google Drive). This backup is performed by the Android operating system and governed by Google's terms; the developer does not control or access it. You can disable backup in your device settings.

6. Permissions we request

The app does not request the internet or advertising‑ID permissions.

7. Sharing and third parties

We do not sell or share your data. The only third‑party platform involved is Google Play Services (the Wearable Data Layer for phone ↔ watch sync, and the Health Connect platform), which operates on your device under Google's terms.

8. Retention and deletion

Data you create stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. You can:

9. Children

RepTrackr is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. Because the app collects no data at all, this exposure is inherently limited.

10. Security

Your data is stored in the app's private, sandboxed storage. No system is perfectly secure, but we rely on Android's app‑isolation model to protect on‑device data.

11. Your rights

Because your in‑app data lives only on your device, you can access and delete it directly using the controls in §8. For any other privacy request, contact info@reptrackr.fit.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. In particular, a future version may introduce advertising and/or optional in‑app purchases (for example, a purchase that removes ads). If that happens, we will update this policy — and the app's Google Play Data Safety information — before those features process any data, revise the "Last updated" date, and surface a notice in the app or store listing.
